How much fat can you have on a low carb diet?
I’m not interested in people’s opinions of low carb/high fat diets. I simply want to know from people who follow them or know about them what the recommended amount of fat is, or if it is largely unrestricted. Thank you to all sincere answerers.
If you are following a strictly low carb diet, there is no restriction as to how much fat you can eat. Of course you should not eat buckets of fat because it is unhealthy but the diet puts not restriction on the fat intake. I have done the carb diet for over 2 years now and have every now and then I abused fat, eat a lot of fried things (low carb) and still loose weight. Low carb diets need to be also, well balanced with vitamins so make sure you keep a journal and most important of all, consult with your doctor.
